I need your opinion faithful blog viewers. I got a digital camera as a gift from my bridesmaids and I have been doing pretty good about taking pictures when we go do fun stuff on the weekends. I originally thought that I would just put all the pictures on Webshots but I quickly found out that they only allow 250 pictures on their free site, I would go way over that once I uploaded all my wedding photos. I decided to try Shutterfly, which gives you an unlimited amount of space so it would work perfectly for us. I started to add photos to Shutterfly this weekend because I thought that is what I wanted to do instead of a website, but it just feels impersonal. So right now I have photos on both Webshots and Shutterfly. I don’t want to continue adding them until I know what I want to do because it would end up being twice the work. I was toying with the idea of starting up a personal website so that friends and family could visit and keep updated on what we are doing (borrowing the idea from a friend). I picked the brain of that same friend and I think that it is something that I could get the hang of. To get started I would need to buy a version of FrontPage because my home computer does not have the software. Once that is done I would have to get a domain name, which really doesn’t cost much so I can handle that. Finally once that is done I would have to motivate myself to get the website going (we are talking about eight months of pictures). So the question that I have for you all is would you rather visit Shutterfly every once in a while to see what we have been up to or would you rather visit a website? Please, please, please give me input I seem to be torn between the two.

Strange Sightings

Boo-Boo and I were on our way to BB&B in Fredericksburg this weekend and we saw the strangest thing. We were sitting at a major intersection of Virginia State Route 3 and I look to our left and there was a man in an electrical wheelchair sitting at the light. I said to Boo-Boo “he can’t be planning on crossing this intersection in that wheelchair”. Lo and behold his light turned green and he obeyed it like he was a car, he crossed 8 lanes of traffic in a wheelchair!!! How do you explain that to your wife? “Honey, I am going to the store. I will leave the car here just in case you need it, I have my wheelchair to get me across the dangerous intersection I am about to encounter.” Never again do I expect to see something like that and if I do I will eat my friggin’ foot.
